Vintage Components
Some customers like the nostalgic mid-century modern look of Brunswick Gold Crown equipment that was found in bowling centers in the 1960s. Fusion Bowling has salvaged some of these special pieces to restore to the custom specs of our homeowners. The masking unit and the ball return are two parts of the bowling alley package that can change the overall look without sacrificing the advanced performance of new pinsetter machine technology behind the scenes. The masking units are reupholstered in new vinyl; the inset panels are cleaned, repaired, and repainted by hand. Metal components are powder-coated. New LEDs take the place of the original lightbulbs. Fiberglass is repaired, sanded, and repainted to a glossy finish by a luxury custom car shop in Jacksonville, Florida. All wiring and buttons are replaced with new parts. Stainless steel parts are polished, and chrome parts are shipped off to be re-chromed. These valuable works of art are shipped on a dedicated truck to the construction site.
